Self taught my first commercial foray into drawing horses and dogs goes back several years before the advent of social media and the internet as we know it now. I advertised in the Horse and Hound and produced graphite drawings pets of all kinds . Due to the love of horses and competing I then let this go to spend more time outside of working hours with my horse. I started with RC eventing where I became very interested in dressage and the elegant control of such a powerful animal. A few years later I took my BHS AI and worked as a freelance instructor specialising in dressage/flatwork. I rode clients horses and my own competing them at British Dressage affiliated events. Due to this obsession I realised I had to make more money and thanks to my husband and friends I was able to attend college and take my AAT in accountancy where I helped companies convert from manual account to computereised. It was a long road to get around to finally calling myself "An Artist" .
